How to use PornSeer Pro Freeware
| The interface of PornSeer Pro is as follow. |

1. The first step is to load videos from a directory by choosing any file under the directory by clicking the following button: |

Then all recognizable formats of video will be listed as |
 |
2. To detect porno video from the video clip list, click the high-lighted "Detect Selected" button as shown below. |
 |
| The detecting results will be shown as a “Rate of Porn”. The highest rate is 100% and the lowest is 000%. A typical porn video has a rate of bigger than 050%. |

| A progress display is used to show the percentage of the current detection |
 |
Click "Detect All" to detect all video clips under a directoryPornSeer Pro will go through all recognizable video files and detect them one by one. The detecting results will be recorded. |
 |
| You can cancel a “Detect All” process by pushing the button "Stop Detection", which will end the detecting process as soon as the current detection finishes. |
 |
After you push the “Detect Selected” or "Detect All" buttons, you will find the following program pop-up, this is to show you the progress of the detecting process. Since this program is running in the background, you can just minimize its interface and let it run while you can do whatever you want to do on your computer. |

| If you don't want to see the above pop-up progress reporting program, you can put it into the background by checking the check of "hide progress" |

There are two parameters “Threshold” and “Decision” to control the detecting performance of the PornSeer. More details about these two parameters can be found here. |

The curve in the following window shows the degree of being a porn video along time. This is of course very useful for monitoring the working condition of PornSeer Pro.All these data will be available to a log file. |

The location of the porn videos found in the computer is displayed as follow. You can select any of them to preview it. For very long movie, PornSeer Pro registered user can let PronSeer to show only the portion of video file where porn features were detected and ignore the rest of the movie. For unregistered user, the movie can be viewed manually. |

PornSeer Pro is also a video player to help to fast browser the video to see the connection between the reports from PornSeer and the contents of the videos. The following are the control panel of the built-in video player. |

Where to get testing video clips?Since face images are the most common innocent ones that might be mistakenly classified as dirty images, you can download video containing lots of faces to test the resistance of PornSeer Pro to false alarms. If PornSeer Pro can survive video containing big faces, you can take it for sure that it can survive much easier to other type of videos.You can go to Yahoo video to search and download different kinds of short video clips for your test. Known Issues
1. Unable to Excute File: C:\PornSeer\PornSeerPro.exe

| This is caused by the following two reasons. |
| a. The user must allow to create shortcuts by checking the following two checks. |
 |
| b. The installation root direction must be chosen as the default path in the following installation step. |
 |
| 2. Alarm from the firewall of your computer must be ignored because PornSeer Pro
uses TCP/IP ports in your computer to communicate between different modules.
PronSeer will not receive or send out any information from and to the Internet,
and we will not use PornSeer Pro to collect any information of your computer
or put any spyware, adware, on your computer.
For example, if you see the following |

| 3. Possible malfunction of video playing when a VdBee search Bee is stopped outside PornSeer Pro or an old sections of PornSeer Pro was stopped when a VdBee was searching. This malfunction is rare and do no harm but affect a little bit the detecting accuracy of the current video clip. This problem should not appear in V.1.0.1.5 and after. |
| 4. If you see some message similar to the following one, make sure there is only one PornSeer Pro running in the computer. When more than on PornSeer Pro running in the computer, only the first one can run in the correct way. The others may malfunction.
