A truck on fire 2: The two green circles in the figure is the flame regions detected by FireEye. In this case, there are two isolated flames, therefore FireEye uses two green circles to indicate the detected position of the presents of fire. |

A truck on fire 3: When the two isolated flame regions developed further, they becoming merging to each other, in this case, the region in between emerges new flames as shown in the following figure, FireEye used three green circles to indicate the merge of flames. |

When the two isolated flames merged into a single one, FireEye treats the entire flame region as a single flame and therefore only a green circle was used to indicated the present of the big flame. |

When the fire engine came, only a partial of the big flame can be seen by FireEye, therefore, the green circle was centered onto the flame that can be seen. |

| The 4-channel FireEye system, which consists of 4 CCTV camera and one industrial PC, was manufactured in China since 2007. The following picture show the first generation of this product. Observe that the industrial PC is in a compact 1U hosting box for the purpose of integrating more than one set of flame-detecting unit. |
